Grant support services at no cost to you!

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) has partnered with Hanover Research as an additional resource for faculty interested in pursuing federal, state, or private grant funding. These services are free to all faculty and staff at MTSU.

Hanover Research supplements the ORSP team with the following services

If you are interested in utilizing this service, please submit the request form linked here to be placed in a first-come, first-served queue:

After submission of the request form, Hanover representatives will reach out to faculty directly and provide a deadline to submit any required documents and information. Failure to submit the required documents by the provided deadline may result in the loss of your place in the queue.

Please note that any proposals for external funding must continue to be submitted through ORSP using the Cayuse system, but an initial consultation/review by Hanover may polish the result.

Hanover Helps Grantseekers Navigate the Funding Landscape and Develop Competitive Proposals

Grants Alerts (Weekly):

• Every Monday, learn about the previous week’s grant solicitations of interest from federal agencies and select private foundations.
• Alerts are broken up into research and programmatic grant opportunities in the Higher Education and Health sectors.

Grants Projections (Monthly):

• Each month, Hanover looks three months ahead at major grant competitions in the Higher Education, Health, and K-12 sectors.
• Projections provide details on program background, key deadlines, and timelines for engaging Hanover.

Grants Webinars (Monthly):

• Every month, Hanover conducts webinars on various topics of interest to our members to strengthen grantsmanship skills and deepen the knowledge of funding mechanisms

Grants Calendars (Bimonthly):

• Hanover produces a specialized calendar twice each month, mapping out grant opportunities of interest to different types of institutions and to faculty in different focus areas.

Grants Portal (Member Exclusive):

• Hanover’s Grants Portal offers our members detailed toolkits, dashboards, and more to help members stand out and stay competitive in the crowded grants marketplace.

Grants Learning Center (GLC) 

The Hanover Grants Learning Center offers on-demand grantsmanship training designed specifically for higher education professionals. Online training, resources, and tools can be accessed at anytime from anywhere.

• Self-paced modules with step-by-step guidance to develop compelling proposals​
• Interactive exercises, videos, and resources to navigate the process
